Monitoring monkeypox situation: Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane
Speaking on monkeypox cases, health minister Vishwajit Rane said that the state government is following central guidelines. “We are monitoring the situation,” he said.
Rane, who is also the forest minister, said that he has plans to start a safari park in the state.
We will take a consultant on board to plan it out, he said.
The forest minister also said that the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is in need of immediate critical care and that the state has “asked for help from the central government to revamp it”.
