Tejashwi issued several other instructions while reviewing the health department’s ‘Mission 60’ initiative aimed at improving health facilities at district hospitals to lessen the burden on the medical college and hospitals in the state. Officials present in this meeting said the introduction of a bed-head ticket system, as proposed by Tejashwi, would make the treatment process smoother and better. “It would be just like the way a file is kept near the patient’s bed in private hospitals,” said an official.
Tejashwi said doctors should visit the wards after rendering their services at the outpatient department. State health department special secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh said the works under ‘Mission 60’ are underway and some are almost in the completion stage.
