Helpline number launched by CM to provide medical facilities

DEHRADUN: Chief minister Harish Rawat on Friday launched - 104 integrated helpline toll free number scheme – at New Cantt area to provide better medical and health-related timely facilities to cross-sections of people in all districts.

Introducing the plan, Rawat directed senior officials involved in National Health Mission to prepare a plan to seek cooperation of social activists to implement plans related to medical health to render satisfactory and better services mostly to those living in far-flung villages in all the 10 hill districts.

"This plan will connect all far-flung villages and towns with timely and prompt medical facilities,” the chief minister said.

The 10 hill districts are heavily dependent upon NHM workers to provide health facilities.
