CM Relief Fund and Tata Trusts to collaborate for enhanced medical assistance to patients in need

Mumbai: The CM Relief Fund will coordinate with Tata Trust's Individual Grant Program (IGP) to provide financial assistance for medical treatment to needy patients. A MoU will be signed soon for this purpose, said CM Fadnavis on Sunday.

"Lakhs of patients benefited from this medical assistance, and seeing the work being done in the medical field through the Tata Trusts, it will be more effective for the Chief Minister's Relief Fund Cell and the Tata Trusts IGP to work together.

The list of diseases covered in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund Cell will be increased. It will be possible to create a source of support for patients and their families for the expenses related to serious medical conditions," said Fadnavis.
