CM opens Jayadeva Hosp in K’buragi, announces new NIMHANS units
CM commended Jayadeva's exceptional standards of cleanliness and maintenance at their Bengaluru and Mysuru facilities. He urged the Kalaburagi branch to surpass these standards. He said the hospital will start functioning from its new building in the first week of January. He highlighted that residents of Kalyana Karnataka districts can now access cardiac care locally in Kalaburagi, eliminating the need to travel to Bengaluru.

Responding to the leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjuna Kharge's address, the chief minister committed to establishing NIMHANS and a diabetology unit in Kalaburagi. He instructed medical education minister Sharan Prakash Patil to expedite this decision, while also emphasising the need for a NIMHANS unit in Mysuru.
The implementation of Article 371J created substantial employment opportunities for educated individuals in the region. The govt developed a comprehensive plan for Kalyana Karnataka's development, including North Karnataka, demonstrating its commitment. The govt will address vacant positions in Kalyana Karnataka, introduce new university courses, and fill existing vacancies, CM added.
Regarding the Tur crop damage package requested by KKRDB president Ajay Singh, MLAs, and ministers, the CM said he awaits a report before making an appropriate decision.
He noted that the ‘Anubhava Mantapa' construction is halfway complete, with the necessary funds allocated. He assured additional funding if required.
The event was attended by opposition leader in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, medical education minister Sharan Prakash Patil, forest minister Eshwar Khandre, Raheem Khan, and KKRDB chairperson Ajay Singh.
