Awareness rally for Kolhapurkars

Breast cancer is a treatable disease, yet there is a stigma attached to it for some people. In a bid to create an awareness regarding the same, a rally was organised recently in Kolhapur.
The route for the Rally was Hutatma to Baai cha putla. It began at 7:30 in the morning when people gathered together. The rally was led by cancer specialist Dr. Reshma Pawar and was arranged by Innerwheel club of Kolhapur Sunrise along with Kolhapur cancer center, Rotary and Innerwheel Movement Kolhapur.

Speaking at the event she said, " Always keep checking your breast and early detection can save life." Adding to this Priti Chandwani said " It is said that cancer does not have a face until it's yours or someone to know. So be brave. "
