Pfizer India hires Monsanto’s Alind Sharma as HR head

NEW DELHI: Pfizer India has hired Alind Sharma from Monsanto to head the human resources department at the drug maker as its senior director.

Sharma, who was HR director at the agrichemical and biotechnology multinational, has previously worked at companies such as Tata International, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and Ranbaxy Laboratories.

Sharma is a graduate in chemical engineering and holds a management degree from Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad.

“Alind Sharma has joined Pfizer India as senior director, HR business and operations solutions lead, responsible for overseeing HR solutions and activities in India,” a company spokesperson said.
