Nifty Pharma index trades flat; Piramal Enterprises up 2%

NEW DELHI:The Nifty Pharma was trading 0.31 per cent down at 9,726.9 around 10:55 am on Thursday with most of its components trading in the green.

Shares of Piramal Enterprises (up 1.83 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 1.05 per cent) and Cadila Healthcare (up 0.79 per cent) were among the top performers.

Aurobindo Pharma (up 0.39 per cent), Divi's Laboratories (up 0.14 per cent) and Biocon (up 0.07 per cent), too were trading in the green.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.10 points at 10,385.5 while BSE Sensex was up 37.05 points at 34,479.1 at that time.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, Indian Oil Corp, Vedanta, BEL, BHEL and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
