"This is the next vertical we are going to grow internally," said Ganesh Ramaswamy, senior manager digital wing at Himalaya. He said the firm's ecommerce site is growing 70%-100% year on year.
The company that sells ayurvedic products across personal and healthcare categories will soon launch a mobile application.
The Himalaya will also expand its store network. "On an average we are opening two stores every month and going forward we plan to get aggressive," said Philipe Haydon, CEO at Himalaya. He said the company looks to clock Rs 1,800 crore revenues this fiscal, up from Rs 1,500 crore last year.
