Prashant Krishnan appointed new Global Business Head of Healthium Medtech
The medical device maker has appointed Krishnan at what it describes as a juncture when Healthium Medtech is strengthening its portfolio in advanced surgery, wound care, orthopaedics, and post-surgical care through organic and inorganic routes.

"As Healthium expands its presence in India and beyond, Prashant will continue to raise the bar in operational excellence and business growth," informed Healthium Medtech in a statement. The company further termed it a strategic appointment that is also critical to reinforcing Healthium’s market leadership, corporate governance, and deep domain expertise.
Commenting on the appointment, Anish Bafna, CEO and MD, Healthium Medtech, said, "We are delighted to welcome Prashant Krishnan into Healthium and am excited to have him join our leadership team. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Xavier Institute of Management and is an alumni of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, the company said. Previously, Krishanan has been associated with companies like Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, and God rej & Boyce.
