CM assures on health insurance schemes
Representatives of government-employed nurses met CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday and after their meeting said that the chief minister assured them that health insurance schemes would continue in the state. They said that Sharma said he had already talked to Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya and it had been decided that treatment up to Rs 25 lakh would be provided free of cost in the state.
President of Rajasthan Nurses Association Pyare Lal Chaudhary and acting state president Narendra Singh Shekhawat met the chief minister and informed him that nurses, pensioners and state employees were worried about free treatment and whether the amount of about Rs 450 crore which was being deducted from their salaries was being used for purposes other than of free treatment.
They said that the chief minister told them that free treatment under RGHS and government schemes would be ensured.
