With 22,742 active cases, India sees a constant decrease in COVID-19 cases

The country is witnessing a continuous decrement in COVID cases . The active COVID-19 cases in the country are currently 22,742. Meanwhile, the recovery rate is currently 98.76 per cent, and 3,752 recoveries have been made in the past 24 hours, which increases total recoveries to 4,44,18,351.

New Delhi: The number of COVID-19 cases in India is slightly decreasing. The country reported 1,331 active COVID cases in the last twenty four hours. The daily positivity rate stands at 0.92 per cent while the weekly positivity slowed down to 2.49 per cent.

The country is witnessing a decline in COVID cases the active cases in the country are currently 22,742.

Meanwhile, the recovery rate is currently 98.76 per cent, and 3,752 recoveries have been made in the past 24 hours, which increases total recoveries to 4,44,18,351.

However, 2,780 vaccination doses have been administered within the last 24 hours, whereas 220.66 crore total vaccinations have been administered so far, according to the Union Health Ministry.

A total of 92.79 crore COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far, including 1,44,767 tests in the last 24 hours.
