Society for Emergency Radiology names Dr Arjun Kalyanpur as President for 2022-24

Bengaluru: The Society for Emergency Radiology (SER), not-for-profit society promoting awareness, education and research in emergency radiology, announced the appointment of Dr Arjun Kalyanpur, Co-founder and Chief Radiologist of Teleradiology Solutions as the President for 2022 – 2024.

During his tenure, Dr Kalyanpur will focus on leading and communicating the larger vision of SER in India, driving key initiatives with the support of the executive committee, enhancing connections with other international societies and further promoting the educational programmes and activities of SER across the nation and globe.

Commenting on his appointment, Dr Kalyanpur, said “My vision for the society is to further the field of emergency radiology, through continuing education efforts to disseminate evidence-based standards in the field, and by espousing contemporary and advanced technologies such as e-learning and Artificial Intelligence.”

The appointment was announced at SER’s Annual Conference, SERCON 2022, conducted this year at CMC Vellore.
