Covid-19: Challenges
Challenges as far as Covid is concerned, are many. The challenge starts right from the patients. The challenges are also, as far as procurement of equipment is concerned like the BP, the medications, etc. We need to understand that the challenges are with the patients.
Now, there are many challenges as far as procurement is concerned because at one particular time, everybody seeks the same material for example, the PPE, which is called personal protection equipment has been taken by a large number of people. So therefore there is a shortfall in the market.
The patients actually come to this hospital because they are frightened and petrified, and we need to ensure that they are not only kept safe, but at the same time, they are looked after in a manner that they feel secure and also they will be cured and then discharged from the hospital.
Covid-19: Learnings
Now, the learnings are that you are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and as well as you require to be very careful about hand wash. We as a hospital, now we've been implementing this learning in the Hiranandani communities and gardens.
