Omron Healthcare India appoints Hisao Masuda as MD

NEW DELHI: Omron Healthcare India today appointed Hisao Masuda as the new Managing Director of the company with immediate effect.

Masuda succeeds Shinya Tomoda who completed his overseas term of three years in the organisation in March, 2015, Omron Healthcare India said in a statement.

Masuda has been associated with Omron for last three years and prior to coming to India, he was at Shanghai, leading Omron Healthcare business' growth and development for China region from 2012 to 2014.

Commenting on the appointment, Omron Healthcare Singapore, Managing Director Jose Maria Salazar said: "India holds a very important position in our business strategy for the Asia Pacific region and I am extremely positive that under Masuda's leadership, Omron Healthcare India will continue to grow and will be able to live up to the stakeholders' expectations."

Established in 2005, Omron Healthcare India is a key player in the healthcare segment, providing innovative medical technologies for monitoring and therapy.

The company's product portfolio comprises home healthcare products such as blood pressure monitors, body fat monitors, pedometers, digital thermometers, respiratory therapy devices and massage devices.

It has also entered into the medical devices segment with a range of vascular monitors and professional blood pressure monitors.
