Lucknow: Ex-CDRI dy director in Ayush min advisory panel
Former deputy director (retired) of Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) NN Mehrotra has been appointed as a member in the advisory committee of the Ayush ministry.
There are 18 members in the advisory committee, which includes top scientists, academicians and experts from across the country. Mehrotra is the only one from UP.
“Ayush ministry is an initiative by the Government of India to promote the propagation and development of Ayush systems of healthcare and medicine in India. I am happy that I have been included in the advisory committee of the ministry,” said principal scientist (retired) NN Mehrotra.
Mehrotra, a Ph.D in biochemistry (immunology) from AIIMS, Delhi, has held key positions in various scientific institutes and has around 100 research papers and 32 books to his credit.
