Indo-Japan World Homeopathic Medicine Conference 2015 hoisted in New Delhi
Ministry of Ayush, World Health Organisation, Japanese Homeopathic Medical Association and B Jain Pharmaceutical all at one Conference.
Delegates from Japan, India, Belgium, Afghanistan, U.S.A and Malaysia were part of the conference which included Homeopathic practitioners, researchers and educationists. Practitioners from all parts of India also graced the conference. The event was an aggregation of some of the best minds in Homeopathic medicine Industry from over the globe.
A number of speakers and eminent personalities from India and Japan addressed various aspects of Homeopathy during the event. Eminent personalities from the Industry such as Dr Kim, representative of the World Health Organization , Dr. Jitendar Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, Torako Yui, the most notable figure in Japan’s Homeopathy and Mr. kuldeep Jain ,CEO, B.Jain group of companies along with many other speakers that delivered their valuable insights on pertinent issues in Homeopathy and Healthcare. In addition, Farokh J Master, the honorary Homeopathy educationist and practitioner spoke on clinical homeopathic practices. Dr Anil Khurana , Deputy Director General, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, spoke on substantive research being done by CCRH in the field of homeopathy.
According to Torako Yui, who was very excited about the event, “It was a big challenge for me to introduce Japanese homoeopathy, which was about 20 years ago , a very short history of homoeopathy compared to India, which is one of the largest countries where people believe in Homeopathic treatment. I am overwhelmed with the response I witnessed at the event and the support and cooperation from Indian homoeopathic doctors.” Homeopathy has a vast scope but is very naive in Japan in terms of legalization and we look up to the Government of India’s support and guidance for the same.
Dr. Jitender Sharma Joint Secretary of the Ministry Of Ayush said that “Systems from overseas like homeopathy are flourishing in India. Homeopathy is rooted in our medical system allay Unani. I am very pleased to say that the kind of research happening in the alternate form of medicine in homeopathy is at a very critical juncture and it seems as a paradigm shift is going to come in health sector where alternative systems will play a crucial role in coming times.
Dr Ramjee Singh, Director, Central Council of Homeopathy said that we hope that this budget 2015 is favorable for AYUSH and thanked Mr. Jiterdra Sharma for having been kind enough to join us at this event and also thanked the government for starting a new ministry “AYUSH”. “The brighter side has been that the new ministry is very positive and supportive to take steps for development of homeopathy.” Dr Geeta Rani Arora presented a paper on the importance of testing of plant material in homeopathy manufacturing which is the most important step towards the making of quality homeopathy medicines and emphasized that standardization of homeopathic medicine manufacturing is the need of the hour along with work in evidence based medicine.
Mr.Nishant Jain, Director , B Jain Pharmaceuticals Says, " homeopathy manufacturing is developing and reaching unexpected heights in our country with huge demands of Indian products in foreign countries like the U.S and Canada. There is a huge scope in the homeopathic industry which needs to be tapped with efforts from all stakeholders in field of homeopathy.”
