In the past three days, 79 adults and 30 children have been admitted to the hospital with diarrhea and vomiting. Out of those, 35 adults and 14 children are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
A 12-year-old boy, from the same area, died late on Monday night. The health department has sent teams in the morning to his house to find out details of the patients. It is a suspected death due to consumption of contaminated water.

He said, “A 12-year-old boy was brought dead to the hospital from the same area. A team of the health department has reached his house to find out if he has died due to consumption of contaminated water,” said Dr Gupta.
