For GenZ, mental health scores over higher salary

The study found that a majority of Gen-Zers, those was born between the late 1990s and the early 2010s, prefer organisations that promote “non-judgmental expression of self”. For 64per cent respondents, flexible work options are the highest priority in terms of what makes a good workplace. If they find the work atmosphere toxic, they won’t hesitate to move on from their current jobs.
When it comes to the workplace, Gen-Zers want it all — authenticity, autonomy, clear values, equity, fairness and flexibility. The report says ‘they are on a mission to reform the broken system around them.’ They are clear about their wants, which includes ‘no dress code’, personal connect with top management, gender neutral washrooms and crying/meditation rooms. The RPG Group says its future policies would be influenced by the findings of this study, which has been conducted in association with Yuvaa Insights Studio.

This is an opportunity to redesign workplaces that inspire, invigorate, and extract the optimum from our emerging talent .”

Millennials and Gen Z comprise around 75per cent of all RPG Group’s companies.
