Doctors demand chopper ambulances
With an aim to ensure better medical facilities, especially in field of surgical emergencies, in remotest parts of nation, nearly 300 top surgeons of the country congregated at Kullu to finalize a proposal with name "Kullu Draft Declaration" to submit to the Government of India for implementation.
The 24th annual national conference of Association of Rural Surgeons (ARS) of India held in Kullu from November 3 to 6. Chairman of the conference Dr P D Lal said that after thorough discussion for four days, a proposal would be drafted and sent to the health ministry of the Government of India so that a better policy is framed for surgeons to be able to provide better medical services at doorsteps in each corner of remotest villages of the country.
