DMK chief Karunanidhi admitted to hospital

Duty doctors said all his parameters were normal.
In December 2016, the five-time Tamil Nadu chief minister underwent a tracheostomy procedure to optimise breathing. Doctors said the procedure helped him overcome breathing difficulties caused by a throat and lung infection.
