Delhi logs 1,515 new COVID cases, positivity rate at 26.5 per cent
With the new fatalities, the death toll from the pandemic rose to 26,595, while the cumulative COVID cases now stand at 20,32,424. The active case tally has now reached 6,271. Deaths of 28 COVID patients were recorded this week.
With the new fatalities, the death toll from the pandemic rose to 26,595, while the cumulative COVID cases now stand at 20,32,424. The active case tally has now reached 6,271.
Deaths of 28 COVID patients were recorded this week. On Thursday, Delhi had recorded three deaths while the number of cases was 1,603 with a positivity rate of 26.8 per cent. The city on Wednesday logged 1,767 fresh COVID cases with a positivity rate of 28.6 per cent. Six deaths were recorded.
Health minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said that cases of coronavirus in the city have sort of stabilised and are likely to come down in the coming days.
