Biocon appoints Pratima Rao as Mission Director of Biocon Foundation

Bengaluru, June 05, 2017 : Biocon Ltd, announced today that Pratima Rao has been appointed as Mission Director & Head of Biocon Foundation, the CSR arm of the Company. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Rao was heading the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Baldwin Girls High School, Bengaluru for over two decades.

Foundation has endeavoured to create a comprehensive and integrated ecosystem to deliver affordable and effective healthcare to the underserved rural and urban communities in India.


Ms. Pratima Rao is a well-known educationist, an award winning teacher and an author who is committed to quality education.
