BBC, Cytiva collaborate to setup training platform in bioprocessing
The collaboration aims to give impetus to the innovation ecosystem by driving industry academia linkages and eventually enhanced research.
The Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre is an incubation Centre with Central Instrumentation facility engaged in providing infrastructure support, skill development and assistance to start-up companies, ventures, and projects in biopharmaceutical field to help conversion of innovative ideas and research into commercialisation. This collaboration aims to give impetus to the innovation ecosystem by driving industry academia linkages and eventually enhanced research.
Speaking on the expected outcomes from the collaboration, Vaggu Raghavendra Goud, General Manager of Cytiva South Asia, said, “This collaboration enables us to bring our global knowledge and expertise to support BBC, local biotech companies and academia in fulfilling the need for skilled talent which will lead to improved efficiency, reduced time and cost of regional biopharma industry development.”
