Award for IGMC cardiologist
A Shimla-based cardiologist has been awarded the Fellowship of American College of Cardiology in a convocation ceremony held in San Diego, USA, from March 14 to 16.
Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj is professor in the department of cardiology at Indira Gandhi Medical College.
The award is given by American Heart Association to candidates who have excelled in cardiology and have contributed in the form of publications, presentation and other distinctions.
The convocation is held annually and the fellowship is given to around 500 cardiologists from across the globe.
The conference was attended by more than 13,000 delegates.
