Asthma patients in city pray for clean air
The asthma patients narrated their ordeal one after another. “I first discovered I have difficulty in breathing due to asthma when I was in the fifth grade, but it went away in the middle. It happened again recently. I take great care about cleanliness and stay away from triggers that aggravate asthma,” said Nimisha Singh from Jaipur.
“I have been suffering from asthma for 15 years. Rising air pollution is making life difficult for all of us. I take precautions to avoid polluted places to keep myself healthy,” said Suman Kanwar, an asthma patient and resident of Churu, at this programme called ‘I Love Clean Air’.

RC Meena, a retired GST officer from Jaipur said his wife has been suffering from asthma for five years. “We pay attention to small things that can trigger bouts of unease in her. We have managed to control the disease quite well. Awareness is very important to control the disease,” he said.
