Activating the youth multiplier - the AIYD way
AIYD delegates will be encouraged to explore healthcare as a field for business and creating desirable social impact.
30 delegates from Australia and India will converge in Sydney and Melbourne from 20th to 23rd February next year to discuss, ideate and collaborate on how the young leaders from Australia and India can help grow this bilateral relationship.
“Young leaders have an incredibly important role to play in today’s time. We believe, the young Indian and Australian leaders will have a massive impact on this bilateral relationship and therefore we have chosen the theme "activating the youth multiplier", which seeks to identify areas where young leaders should focus, where we can quickly turn rhetoric into action, and the steps young leaders need to take to maximize their impact for the benefit of the bilateral relationship,” Karan Anand, Chair, Australia India Youth Dialogue announced at the launch event where AIYD's distinguished alumni and sponsors were hosted by the Australian High Commission in New Delhi.
“The applications are now open on our website www.aiyd.org and we look forward to seeing the amazingly talented young Indians and Australians applying for the next dialogue scheduled in Australia,” he added.
“Activating the youth multiplier” will include looking at core focal areas like health and how to harness technology & developments in the sector to maximize information exchange and greater access to health for both nations. Both the countries have made substantial impact in the field of healthcare. This exchange of information will benefit both the countries. AIYD delegates will be encouraged to explore healthcare as a field for business and creating desirable social impact.
During the launch event, AIYD also announced the launch of their new strategy aimed at harnessing the talent in their alumni network and pointing them towards productive pursuits in the bilateral space through a brand new alumni enablement program.
