Max Healthcare launches its first oncology tower
Max Super Speciality Hospital, starts fully equipped oncology centre at Vaishali, which will treat the most advanced and menial forms of cancer cases.
The new oncology tower was inaugurated by Retd General VK Singh MOS for Road Transport and Highways in the presence of other dignitaries and members from Max Healthcare Centre (MHC) senior leadership and representatives from Ghaziabad administration. Commenting on the new facility, Abhay Soi, Chairman, MHC, said that oncology centre will provide specialised cancer treatment as they have over 50 cancer specialists.
He also added that centre includes latest PET scan machine, 32 bed chemo daycare centers, bone marrow transplant unit. Talking about the facility, Dr Harit Chaturvedi, Chairman, Max Institute of Cancer Care, has informed that the dedicated wing for women will offer specialised care, quick diagnosis and staging, and personalised service to females of all ages and backgrounds.
The cancer center will focus on Disease Management Groups (DMG) based approach and it will offer customized and advanced care to the patient.
Informing that MHC has been at the forefront of cancer treatment across north India, Col HS Chehal, Sr Director, COO- Cluster 2, Max Healthcare said, ”This dedicated tower at Vaishali adds to our combines oncology strength and we are sure that patients from across Delhi NCR and neighbouring cities and towns will benefit immensely.”
