Massive fire at Metro Hospital Noida; over two dozen patients trapped

Massive fire broke out at Metro Hospital in Noida, Uttar Pradesh today. According to initial reports, over two dozen patients are reported to be trapped inside the hospital. The hospital is situated in Sector 12 area of Noida.

Currently rescue and relief work is in progress. Police and fire brigade's vehicles have been rushed to the hospital. Six fire tenders are on the spot to douse the flames.

The fire reportedly broke out on the third and fourth floor of the hospital. However, the reason behind the cause of fire is still not known. Efforts are still on to control the fire.
