Mangaluru : A hi-tech birth suite facility for pregnant women

Mangaluru: Introducing a state-of-art suites which offer hi-tech medical facilities and the comfort of a home to the pregnant women and the babies, Unity Hospital, Falnir, has opened a Birth & Beyond unit, recently.

Trying to make the occasion the most memorable experience, the facility is equipped with all modern amenities.

Ajmal M Habeeb, managing director of the hospital, explained that the unit has features that include a centralized oxygen system, nitrous supply system, air condition and hi-tech monitoring system. "What is more unique is that an exclusive camera is fixed to each bed to share those precious moments with your loved ones," he said, adding that pregnancy, just like parenting goes differently for everyone. "Our goal is to create space for women to have the most positive experience possible, supported by a team of doctors and nurses."

The would-be mothers can walk around a soothingly decorated room, or listen to music. Indian Hospital and Heart Institute is the first in city to offer such facilities.
