Hyderabad's Apollo Health City adjudged 'Best Med Tourism' hub

HYDERABAD: Apollo Health City has been adjudged the 'Best Medical Tourism Facility' by the Government of India for the year 2013-14. The award was handed over to Sangeeta Reddy, joint managing director, Apollo, by President Pranab Mukherjee at an event in New Delhi.

Incidentally, this is the third year that Apollo Health City has been honoured with this award.

The hospital was conferred on the same for the years 2009-2010 and 2011-2012.

"This award is a great inspiration and Team Apollo will continue its journey towards making India a global healthcare destination," said Sangeeta Reddy, adding that patients from over 90 countries come here to receive treatment at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad, for a wide range of services, including preventive health checks, organ transplantation, robotic surgery, cancer treatment, cosmetic procedures, eye procedures, brain and spine surgeries.
