Health department to administer pulse polio vaccine to 2.28 lakh children in Kozhikode
The vaccination drive will be conducted through the booths set up at Anganwadis, health sub centres, Family health centres, government hospitals, private hospitals, bus stands, railway stations.
District collector Sambasiva Rao will inaugurate the programme at a function to be held at Kottaparamba Women and Child Hospital on January 19. The vaccination drive will be conducted through the booths set up at Anganwadis, health sub centres, Family health centres, government hospitals, private hospitals, bus stands, railway stations. The department has set up 2305 booths including 55 transit booths and 54 mobile booths. The booths will be functioned from 8 am to 5 pm on the day. Apart from this, booths will be functioned round-the-clock at the Kozhikode railway station for three days from January 19.
District Medical officer Dr V Jayashree sought the active participation of parents to ensure the vaccination drive a huge success.
