Haryana govt doctors to observe Black day in solidarity with Rajasthan colleagues

The doctors say that they have a sense of resentment towards ‘the act of oppression’ by the Rajasthan government against the in-service doctors who have been protesting in a democratic manner. In support of their colleagues, the AIFGDA has decided to wear black badges on Thursday across India. Haryana Civil Medical Services Association (HCMS) has urged all in-service doctors in the state against the ‘insensitive and autocratic attitude’ of the Rajasthan government. There are 1,900 doctors in the state, including 180 posted in Gurugram.
“The Rajasthan doctors had withdrawn their agitation last month after the government accepted their demands. But instead of implementing the demands, the government is harassing the doctors. This attitude by the government is against the spirit of compromise.
"We urge the Rajasthan government to implement the all accepted genuine issues of doctors amicably and also request the central government to intervene and get issue resolved," said Dr Jasbir Parma, President, and HCMS.
