Ghaziabad : DM shocked at state of hospital, warns officials after surprise visit

GHAZIABAD: Ministhy S, the newly appointed district magistrate of Ghaziabad, Wednesday made a surprise visit to the MMG district hospital. The district magistrate expressed her dissatisfaction with the manner in which the hospital is run and warned officials to fall in line or be ready for action.

The DM expressed shock after she saw that the plaster from the ceiling of the emergency ward was peeling off. “I have asked officials to blacklist the contractor and lodge an FIR against him,” said Ministhy S.

She also directed the chief medical superintendent to make breakfast available for patients from the special funds available

Hospital officials have been asked to launch a special drive to maintain cleanliness in the hospital premises. “Officials have three days time and if by then there is no improvement then there will be strict action against all concerned officials,” said the DM.
