Cytecare Hospitals collaborates with Portea to provide patients with smooth, individualised homecare

Bengaluru, 27 March 2024: In order to offer customers seamless and individualised homecare services, Cytecare has teamed with Portea Medical, the top supplier of healthcare outside of hospitals in India. The partnership will improve patient experience by enabling comprehensive and coordinated care for its patients, combining inpatient hospital treatment with outpatient home support services.

Under the arrangement, Portea will provide a variety of in-home healthcare services to patients receiving treatment at Cytecare Hospitals and those in recovery. Nursing care, physical therapy, medical equipment sales and rentals, and medicine administration are a few of these. Additionally, it will provide a seamless transition for patients from Cytecare's facilities for their initial diagnosis and treatment to Portea's at-home post-treatment care and support.

The partnership between Cytecare Hospitals and Portea actually goes beyond the ease of receiving care at home. By giving patients the knowledge, information, and resources they need to actively participate in choosing their course of treatment and self-care, it promotes higher levels of patient engagement.
