City hospital gets permission to conduct live kidney transplants

SURAT: Tristar Hospital has been granted permission to carry out live kidney transplants by Government of Gujarat. It has become the only hospital in South Gujarat to be allowed to carry out live kidney transplants.

The hospital has hired specialists to conduct live transplants of kidneys of close relatives of patients.
