Chennai : Private health chain opens medical centre

CHENNAI: GoClinix, a private chain of health clinics, launched its sixth and flagship medical centre in T Nagar on Friday . It was inaugurated by Dr E Hemanth Raj, chairman, surgical oncology and executive vice chairman of the Cancer Institute (WIA) in Adyar.

After inauguration, Dr Raj announced that the Cancer Institute would be partnering with GoClinix to conduct monthly cancer screening and awareness campaigns at low cost for all groups and sexes. Dr Rajesh Nandipati, founder and MD of GoClinix healthcare private limited, said it wanted to bring back the concept of family doctor and eliminated the need of super speciality hospitals.
