AIIMS Trauma Centre opens to non-Covid patients again

New Delhi: AIIMS Trauma Centre has resumed non-Covid services. In March last year, the apex centre for trauma care was turned into a Covid-19 facility and all non-Covid emergencies were shifted to the main institute.

However, officials said, they decided to resume non-Covid services again in view of the fact that there were very few Covid admissions in the past few weeks.

In August, RDA of AIIMS wrote to the institute director seeking the commencement of trauma services.
