500-bed hospital will be opened within 2 months: Goa minister
The minister was addressing a webinar after signing the e-memorandum with the National Skill Development Corporation for setting up a skill development hub in the state. He said that four other hospitals were in the pipeline to be commissioned.
The minister was addressing a webinar after signing the e-memorandum with the National Skill Development Corporation for setting up a skill development hub in the state. He said that four other hospitals were in the pipeline to be commissioned.
Rane said that everything that needs to be done for the people of Goa will be done to fight the pandemic. “We are doing our best to see that things are under control. I believe in the theory of never giving up,” he said.
Rane stressed on the need for political leaders to play a larger role in the state’s battle against the pandemic.
“Political leadership should also come to the forefront when there is a crisis and handle it head-on, because people feel very satisfying when they see political leadership playing a frontal role along with the bureaucracy,” he said.
