Touchkin focusing on being a predictive healthcare platform for mental illness and diabetes
Touchkin, a Bengaluru-based startup, uses smartphone sensors to remotely identify when someone may be in need of help.
Touchkin is the brainchild of couple Ramakant Vempati and Jo Aggarwal. Aggarwal was a part of the founding team of Silatech, a Doha-based multinational employability initiative, which used technology to place Arab youth into jobs and address terrorism, while Vempati left his job in Goldman Sachs to become a senior advisor to a UN backed entity that built a social impact investment portfolio. This experience made the couple understand how technology can actually make a difference in a person’s life.
The 10 member Touchkin team is primarily focusing on being a predictive healthcare platform for mental illness and diabetes.
