Health firm brings app on e-prescription

CHENNAI: Ezcliniq Health Care India Pvt Ltd, a Chennai-based health care mobile app and analytics company, has come out with a 'physically signable e-prescription app' and has obtained a patent for 'system and method for a digital prescription' that generates a valid digital prescription using hand signature on any electronic device.

The process has qualified to be innovative, unique and novel by the Intellectual Property of India, said a release from Ezcliniq. As part of the company's aim of ensuring effective management of the healthcare sector, they have launched two mobile applications - Digiprez PRIME and Digiprez OPTIMA - available on Google and Apple app stores. The apps allow doctor to search for patients using a code which is unique to each patient. The doctor can also identify patients using the mobile number of the patient. All the vital information such as blood pressure, sugar level, pulse rate, and diagnosis of the patient are available on the app.
