CitiusTech buys majority stake in FluidEdge
US and Mumbai-based Citius-Tech is Rizwan Koita and IIT-Bombay batchmate and cofounder Jagdish Moorjani’s second company.
CitiusTech will offer FluidEdge’s consultation expertise in the operations and IT areas to clients.
“From a structure perspective, we would like to retain FluidEdge as a separate business entity. But there will be a lot of synergies between CitiusTech and FluidEdge,” said Rizwan Koita, CEO of Citius-Tech. The services of both companies are relevant to each other’s customers, he added.
US and Mumbai-based Citius-Tech is Koita and IIT-Bombay batchmate and cofounder Jagdish Moorjani’s second company. The duo started BPO firm Transworks in 2000 and sold it to the Aditya Birla group in 2003. They started CitiusTech in 2005 along with another IIT batchmate Bimal Naik.
