80,000 students from Gujarat to take NEET-UG on May 7

Ahemdabad: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has completed the registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023. According to sources, 21 lakh students have registered for NEET-UG 2023, including 80,000 students from Gujarat. The examination will be conducted on May 7.

Following a demand from students, the registration deadline was extended by three days to April 15. Last year, 18.72 lakh students had registered across the country which included 79,000 from Gujarat. NEET-UG is a centralized test for admissions in medical and dental undergraduate courses.

The admission process for medical and dental courses will begin after NEET-UG is conducted.
