Swine flu cases rise to 273 in Chhattisgarh, Raipur worst hit

Worst hit is the capital city with 156 positive patients, followed by Durg with 28, Bilaspur with 13, Rajnandgaon has 11, Dhamtari, Raigarh each with eight patients, Bastar with seven, Balodabazar with six, Mahasamund with four, Kanker, Gariyaband, Janjgir-champa each with three patients, Mungeli, Sarguja, Dantewada, Korba with two each, Balod, Kawardha, Koriya, Surajpur, Balrampur, Sukma with one each, while nine patients identified are from other states, said the medical official.
Experts have advised following precautionary measures including social distancing, wearing masks, especially in public places, and avoiding crowds as the epidemic is still affecting people's lives.
If one experiences a fever of more than 101 degrees for more than three days, sore throat, shortness of breath, running or blocked nose, or tiredness should immediately consult a doctor and get treated, they added.
