India’s fresh COVID-19 cases declining

New Delhi : With India administering more than 11.66 lakh doses in the last 24 hours, the country’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 172.95 (1,72,95,87,490) crore which was achieved through 1,93,87,689 sessions.

34,113 news cases were reported with 91,930 people recovering from the infection, 346 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours. The active caseload now stands at 4,78,882 (1.12 per cent).

In the last 24 hours, a total of 10,67,908 tests were conducted. India has so far conducted over 75.18 crore (75,18,03,766) cumulative tests.

5,09,011 people have succumbed to the COVID-19 infection to date. The recovery rate in the country currently stands at 97.68 per cent with the weekly positivity rate being 3.99 per cent and the daily positivity rate being 3.19 percent
