CORE Diagnostics receives International Accreditation from College of American Pathologists (CAP)
CORE Diagnostics becomes one of the nearly 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide and one of only fourteen standalone labs in India.
Commenting on the accomplishment, Dinesh Chauhan, CEO, CORE Diagnostics, said, “We are extremely proud to join the ranks of the most elite laboratories in the world, and our team behind this deserves all the accolades. This is another step in our company’s expansion plans and towards offering best-in-class diagnostic accuracy while complying with rigorous criteria of quality assurance to all.”
“This marks yet another testament of the excellence and expertise we hold.”
The CAP laboratory accreditation program is recognized by U.S. federal government as equal to or more-stringent-than the government’s own inspection program. CORE Diagnostics becomes one of the nearly 8,000 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide and one of only fourteen standalone labs in India. This certification by CAP accredits a whole range of tests that includes diagnosis in fields like cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, gynaecology, and nephrology.
“CORE Diagnostics demonstrates leadership, innovation, and a passionate commitment to standards of excellence while providing the highest quality services, ultimately for patients,” said Richard Scanlan, MD, FCAP, chair of the CAP’s Council on Accreditation that oversees the program. “The CAP congratulates CORE Diagnostics on its recent CAP Accreditation.”
On this occasion, Dr. Shivani Sharma, Lab Director, shared - “We are extremely proud about this achievement. Being certified by CAP is a reflection of our commitment to the highest standards of quality in diagnostic testing to our clinicians, hospitals & patients.”
